1. Craftsmanship & Origins (1959–1980s)

From a small Italian workshop to global ambition Founded in 1959 by Pasquale Natuzzi, the brand began with a simple vision: to craft high-quality sofas rooted in Italian tradition. What started as a local workshop quickly evolved into a growing business, built on craftsmanship, resilience, and attention to detail.

By the late 1970s, Natuzzi had moved beyond artisan production, scaling operations and beginning to export-laying the foundations for international success.

2. Global Growth & Innovation (1980s–2000s)

Redefining the leather sofa market worldwide The 1980s marked a turning point, as Natuzzi expanded into the United States and transformed the perception of leather sofas-making them more accessible without compromising on quality.
